Who are you?

Waking up early and go out for an run or bike ride before breakfast and before the family wakes up is the best way to start the day. I love to come out and feel the pulse go up, feel the air in the lunges and sorting things out in my mind.

Born and raised in the City of Varberg. Married since 2010 and have a 2 year old daughter. I work full time as IT project manager. The profession of moving towards set goals matches my personal interests where I love planning and training towards different set races.

Besides family, training, work and friends I have a passion for food. To test and experiment in the kitchen.

What is your training/competition background?

During my teenage I realized the beauty in training. Tested a lot of things and ended up doing Karate. For several years I trained and also did some moderate competitions.

In the beginning of 2000 I did my first ”En Svensk Klassiker” together with a friend. During this year I realized that I enjoy long distances and hours on the move. It made me feel stronger for every kilometer. It ended up that I did 5 ”En Svensk Klassiker”. I found the love riding the bike and started to races more and more on the bike. So far I have done 13 Vätternrundan with the best time of 7:47.

2011 I did my first Ironman in Kalmar, or ”järnmannen” as it was called back then. I remember the heat on the run and that had to sit down under a tree to not faint. This was my first triathlon race and I fell in love with doing 3 different sports. So I continued racing and now I have done several Ironman and 1/2 Ironman.

What made you register?

When I did my second Ironman I started to look at Ultra races. This very vage idea started grow more and more. When I did my best Ironman in 2016 I decided to test the boundaries and register for the race.

What do you long for the most come July 2017 and UltraTri Sweden?

To do what you love, all day long together with other people having same interest. To cross Sweden by yourself. I will enjoy every meter, even in the darkest of hours.
